SPACE – WORKSPACE, EVENTS AND RESIDENCIES AT VAASANKATU
Recover Laboratory’s headquarters Tila (Space) is located in Kallio, Helsinki, at Vaasankatu 2. The space hosts workshops, demos, events and activities that promote multi-arts. In 2023, we will offer free week-long residencies for artists in our space of around 40 m2. You can apply for a residency with a free application. Send us a short description of yourself, your work, your needs and a few possible dates to hello@recoverlaboratory.com and we’ll see if we can arrange a residency for you!

WORKSHOPS
Recover Laboratory organises workshops and workshop packages with the aim of bringing together professionals from different artistic disciplines in order to developing multi-arts. Past workshops have included: aerial acrobatics, handstand, movement workshop, listening to intuition, awkwardness in artistic work, movement workshops, life model drawing, night in the woods, song camp, etc.
Check our Calendar for upcoming workshops and follow us on social media to stay up to date!
You can also book a wide range of workshops for your event. For example, check out below a video of our beloved Live Model Drawing workshop!
DISCUSSIONS AND PUBLICATIONS
Participating in discussions and publishing texts is one of Recover Laboratory’s ways of developing a multi-arts approach. The group’s artists have participated in discussions organised by e.g. Opera Beyond and Kaiken Keskus, and lectured on topics such as their artistic work and experience design at Aalto University and Haaga-Helia. Contact us if you are interested in commissioning a lecture from us or if you would like to invite us to a panel discussion.
