Primeval Sea is a burlesque act by contemporary circus artist Hedda Liukkala. The piece combines intense presence, spectacular visuals and dramatic atmosphere. A six-minute performance only requires an area of 2 x 2 m, but the piece can take over a larger stage, too. Primeval Sea is part of the Mitämeri piece and it has been seen also e.g. as part of the musician Mechanic Membrane’s festival gigs.

Contemporary circus artist Hedda Liukkala specialises in Cyr wheel and performance art. Having also been titled as the soul of immersive performances, this master of presence and encounters also captivates with their individual performances, suitable for events.
