VJ Saint Sifi (ex Soccru)<\/strong>, or really Sofi H\u00e4kkinen, is a visual artist and Recover Laboratory’s artistic director. H\u00e4kkinen actively does VJ gigs at various events, festivals and artworks. With their live video projections H\u00e4kkinen has created ie. party visuals that engage in dialogue with the music, as well as created interesting site-specific projection atmospheres for immersive artworks. The locations have ranged from theater stages and wastewater treatment plants to parking halls, clubs, huge caves and even swimming pools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saint Sifi will bless the night with humour and chaos. \u2764\ufe0f Their colourful, trashy and cute style will blend with the music in a retro-futuristic dreamscape. There will be tongues and dolphins and sparkles and blood \ud83d\udc96\ud83d\ude08\ud83e\ude78<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Recover Laboratory’s works, H\u00e4kkinen’s VJ work has been seen at among many others, Hobo Hotel’s Backhaus suite parties, Kaiku club (as a resident VJ) in Helsinki, DTM night club in Helsinki, Mit\u00e4s Mit\u00e4s Mit\u00e4s festival in Urjala Finland, Slush after parties, at Tampere-talo with Finnish rap artist Pyhimys, Helsinki City Theater’s Valokeilassa Koillinen project, Finnish tv series \u201cPenkinl\u00e4mmitt\u00e4j\u00e4t\u201d, in live concert streams of one of the biggest Finnish pop-rock singers Maija Vilkkumaa, and at various artists\u2019 concerts (e.g. Mechanic Membrane, feelswithcaps, Surrealiisa, Aki Himanen & Aleksi Kinnunen Duo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
