Spiraling

Spiraling (working title) is an indoor and outdoor contemporary circus show for all ages and audiences.

Spiralling is an uplifting, calm, piece of bodywork and object manipulation. The props used are former hula hoops, reformed in different shapes.

Spiraling is a poetic performance based on a children’s story written by Miradonna Sirkka in 2022. It’s about a stream that freezes itself in fear of a thought it cannot face. Over time, stillness becomes survival until a sudden overflow breaks the control and sets the stream free.
The story explores the tension between holding back and letting go, revealing flow as a force of connection, change, and the beautiful force and joy of life.
