Peep Box is, in all its’ simplicity, a cardboard box with holes for peeping inside the box. There is a video artworks inside, that you can only encage in this intimate way. Peep Box entices its viewer to peek inside, making the art experiencing a physically intimate moment. The box hides a scene in which the viewer participates by giving in to their curiosity. A video in a Peep Box brings a very personal moment into a public situation, with only an old shabby cardboard box as its protection.
